Original Bayonetta Getting Physical Switch Release Soon

The first Bayonetta is releasing a physical version of the game on the Nintendo Switch, and fans don't have to wait long to get it.

PlatinumGames will be releasing a physical version of the first Bayonetta game on the Nintendo Switch, and fans won't be waiting long in order to get it. This first game was originally re-released on the Wii U in 2014, alongside its sequel Bayonetta 2. These games saw ports on the Switch console a few years later, although Bayonetta 2 was the only game that got a Switch cartridge release. The first game has only been available by Digital Download either through the Nintendo eShop or via a free code that came with new physical copies of Bayonetta 2. With Bayonetta 3's release this Fall being closer than ever, gamers can get their hands on the adventure where it all began with a snazzy new physical release.

With Bayonetta 3's story having connections to its past entries, involving multiple timelines, this physical re-release is a good way for some fans to revisit the older game. This entry can help players familiarize themselves with the combo-based hack-and-slash gameplay, along with its brutal difficulty. Not only that, it gives fans a fancy Switch case, which ties back to Bayonetta 3's special edition.

Spider-Man Mod Shows Cutscenes in First-Person

One talented modder of Marvel's Spider-Man PC port shows off the cutscenes of the game, all from a first-person perspective.

One talented modder shows off how the cutscenes of Marvel's Spider-Man would look like if it was from a first-person perspective. Since the game was ported to PC this year, modders and other gamers have been enjoying the perks that come with it. This includes a constantly growing modding community that has done some crazy things with the game. While many of these mods are cosmetic, like replacing Spidey with Wolverine, one mod that has been getting traction is shifting the game's perspective from a third-person adventure to a first-person game.

The first showcase of this mod was created by jedijosh920, who has been a modder for the game ever since its PS4 release. Their latest video of Spider-Man in first-person view shows a realistic look at the superhero and what he sees. This includes a somewhat nauseating and shaky sight of Spider-Man swinging through the city and crawling up walls. The next showcase of this mod is the cutscenes of the game from the first-person view.

Modern Warfare 2 Bug Lets Players See Through Smoke

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta features a glitch that allows players with certain scopes to see through enemy smoke.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is currently holding a beta test for gamers who have preordered the title, and players have noticed an odd glitch that allows some enemies to see through smoke. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 follows 2019's Modern Warfare, and the beta has let fans get a feel for the next installment in the franchise. The gameplay shows some classic Call of Duty mechanics that fans have come to know and love, as well as new maps and weapons. The glitches, however, demonstrate that the title isn't quite ready yet.

Reddit user GT-Ranz recently posted a video to the Modern Warfare 2 subreddit that shows a player aiming down sights at a patch of smoke, only for the entire cloud to disappear. The smoke didn't only dissipate from around the lens, but from the screen as a whole. While the issue may be annoying, it isn't a gameplay deterrent. Rather, it seems to expose the fact that the next Call of Duty game isn't quite ready yet.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope Release Date Leaks Ahead Of Nintendo Direct

The newest entry in the Mario + Rabbids series, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, is set to release October 20, 2022, according to Ubisoft's digital storefront. The company has since removed the listing, but not before Twitter user Nibellion managed to save a screenshot of the leak.

In addition to the release date, the Ubisoft ad also indicated there will be a gold edition of the game. This edition will come with a season pass giving players access to future characters, quests, and battles, as well as the Galactic Prestige pack, a cosmetics kit containing weapon and character skins.

The reveal comes less than a day ahead of June 28's Nintendo Mini Direct, which is scheduled to contain about 25 minutes of information on upcoming third-party Switch games. Considering the timing of the leak, it seems safe to assume we'll see a bit more of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope--included the intended release date reveal--during the showcase.

The follow up to 2017's Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Sparks of Hope is a turn-based strategy game wherein the Mushroom Kingdom's best and brightest must team up with some of the strangest creatures in gaming: the Rabbids. While the first game took place within Peach's domain, Sparks of Hope sees our heroes take to the galaxy as they hunt down the evil entity Cursa and save the world's Sparks. Players will be able to choose from characters including Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Luigi, Rabbid Mario, and newcomer Rabbid Rosalina.
